The Words We Live In

Our bodies are made mostly of water. Sound travels easily through water. That means words don’t just reach our ears, they move through us.
When we speak, our voice makes sound waves. These waves travel through the air and through the water in our bodies. So, words are not just sounds; they are movement.
Some words feel calm and kind and help the body relax. They help things feel steadier inside. Other words can feel sharp or heavy, causing the body to tighten or feel unsettled.
This doesn’t mean we have to use perfect words all the time. It just means we might want to be aware… words matter. Words like thank you, okay, peace, and kindness can help our bodies feel safer and more balanced.
The words we say to other people matter, and the words we say to ourselves matter too!
Before a word becomes a thought, it becomes a feeling in the body. When we choose gentle, honest words, we help our bodies feel more at home.
Here's today's gentle reminder … the words we use shape how life feels inside us.
